Natalia Osma has received the Extraordinary Doctorate Award for the thesis she defended at the beginning of last year. This work, which also received the mention of European Doctorate, was directed by Dr. May Gómez and Dr. Ted Packard, and was entitled "ON THE RESPIRATORY METABOLISM OF MARINE PLANKTON: ITS APPLICATION IN ASSESSING CARBON FLUXEX AND THE ROLE OF SUBSTRATES IN ITS BIOCHEMICAL CONTROL '.
